For much of my life, painting and drawing has been my anchor, weaving my story from the upheaval of leaving  family and home in a dissolving USSR as a teenager to navigating decades of statelessness in the US. It’s been a constant amid change, a means to piece together fragments of identity.

Today, I am on a quest for wholeness,  and my art is how I heal.
